Camping and Fishing in the Gros Ventre's

Seth and I did a 12 mile bike/run out to a lake in the Gros Ventre Range and camped and fished. He biked with a chariot on the back and carried our gear. I ran since I really hate biking especially on dirt roads with loose gravel. It was hot, especially for this early in the year here, and other than some wind, pretty nice weather.

Fishing in the Tetons

An afternoon of fishing in Grand Teton Park. Some thunderstorms rolled around us, but it never rained right where we were. At one point in our 7 miles of hiking, we nearly tripped over a teenage moose that was laying in the path. It was a pretty afternoon.

Making a switch rod

Seth recently finished building his first fly rod. It was an interesting process to learn about. Below is the very ghetto home made rod spinner that kept the rod turning as the epoxy dried. Now he's just got to learn how to fish with a switch rod as out of his 9 or so rods, this is the first one of this kind.

Fishing Gloves

For the first time ever, I tried knitting gloves. So of course I thought I'd start with a complicated pattern. They look loose on my hands, but I made them for Seth to fish with and they turned out to fit him pretty well I thought.
